About the event

This is an Open Meditation Sit.

All are welcome. Any meditation level from beginner to expert.

$10.00 Donation. A portion of all proceeds goes to the Pakachoag Center to help fund their good works.

(Donations are anonymous and shouldn't be a barrier to attendance.)

Guided Meditation

Self-Guided Silent Mindful Walking or Moving

Time for Discussion

*Those with physical, neurological, and mental health disabilities are encouraged to attend. Please inform the Guide of accommodations

Some pillows will be made available. It is recommended that you bring your own meditation pillow, large floor pillow, blanket, or low-seated beach chair. Seated chairs are available for those who can't comfortably sit on the ground. Warm socks and a blank are also recomended and dress in layers to assist with your comfort. 

Please attempt not to drink any coffee or caffeinated tea or use THC products and try to eat a light meal 2 hours before we meet.

Bottled water and hot tea are available for no cost

Bio:

Rev. Krystal Linn, Sur-Thrive Wellness, is a certified Holistic Health Practitioner and Life Coach who received their Integrative Healing Arts Practitioner diploma from Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (SWIHA), an accredited college in Tempe, AZ. At SWIHA, they completed coursework and received certification in Life Coaching and Hypnotherapy; with the religious coursework from SWIHA, they received a Bachelor of Divinity and were ordained as a Minister by the Universal Brotherhood as a non-denominational Minister. Krystal completed the "Meditation for Everyone" Teacher Training with Boston Buddha, a Chopra Center Certified Instructor, and completed the 8-week MBSR course at UMass Center for Mindfulness. Donations can be prepaid online or paid in person via cash, Venmo, debit/credit * Donations are deeply appreciated as it helps me create programs and events for the community. Cost should not be a barrier to attendance. If you are able to pay more than the $10 suggested, you are helping others attend this meditation and other Sur-Thrive events.
